Calgary Residential & Commercial Inspection Services
At MR. Home Inspection Services, you can always expect a comprehensive, professional inspection. I utilize many years of training and experience, as well as several of the industry’s most high-tech tools. During your inspection, you may see me use the following:
Thermal Imaging – I am certified in thermal imaging. This helpful tool can find everything from leaks under the flooring to an overloaded circuit breaker.
Moisture Meter – I can find out where moisture often gathers in your home, which will also clue us in to where mold may accumulate.
Spectroscope – With a spectroscope, I can fully inspect the roof without leaving the ground.
Carbon Monoxide Detector – Carbon monoxide poisoning kills an average of 50 Canadians per year. I use a detector to find out if your future home has a deadly substance lying in wait.
Gas Leak Detector – Much like carbon monoxide, small gas leaks are often undetectable by people. With this gas leak detector, I can help you avoid a major problem down the line.








Thermal Imaging
At MR. Home Inspection Services, we utilize infrared thermography to check for issues such as plumbing leaks inside a home and exterior moisture intrusion. We’ll also do a scan to look for electrical hotspots and other energy issues that you should be aware of.
Buyer’s Home Inspection
Buying a home doesn’t need to be a huge leap of faith. Instead, you can turn to me for an in-depth Buyer’s Home Inspection service. During this inspection, I’ll carefully look through the house for any existing issues. The areas that we include in this service include, but are not limited to:

When it’s time to sell your home, you naturally want to get as much out of it as possible. But to get a high sales price, you’ll need to know what areas to repair or renovate before buyers get involved. With my Pre-Listing/Seller’s Inspection service, you’ll find out exactly what type of condition your home is in. This gives you the advantage of being able to address major problems with the goal of setting a higher listing price.

11-Month / Builder’s Warranty Inspection
Anyone who has bought a newly constructed home should protect themselves by using their builder’s warranty, as needed. Most of these warranties only last for 12 months, so you need to act fast. The problem is that many of the items that should be covered don’t stand out to owners during the early months of new home ownership. To ensure you won’t be left paying for something that should have been covered by your warranty, schedule an 11-Month/Builder’s Warranty Inspection.

Re-Inspections
Don’t close on your new home until it’s been inspected, repaired, and then re-inspected. After all, even the most reputable seller can mistakenly misrepresent something. After you’re told that your home repair addendum has been completed, I can go back to Re-Inspect the property for your protection. Any remaining issues will be documented to help you get them taken care of before they become your financial responsibility.

Home Maintenance Inspections
Another thing that homeowners should pay attention to is their house’s need for regular maintenance inspections. Doing this is one of the best ways to avoid a budget-breaking problem. During our Home Maintenance Inspections, I check out the home’s critical systems and components to make sure they’re still working properly. Minor issues are often discovered during these inspections, which gives homeowners the opportunity to get repairs before the problem gets out of hand.

Mold Inspections / Testing
